The reviews are starting to add up here on Fishing Traveler. We just received one that was quite unique. It certainly speaks to the quality of service that you will receive at Expeditions North Lodge. I’ll let Matt’s comments speak for themselves. But if you think every outfitter would do this for someone, you are wrong.
My dad & I returned for the second straight year because of the quality of the camp, boats and fishing and of course the personable staff. Unformately our trip was cut short due to the illness of my grandmother so we had to fly out after being there for only 24 hrs. David took the time to arrange our fly out with the neighboring camp, took us over there the next morning and waited with us until we flew out (2hrs later), all while he had 26 guys in camp. To me that says two things, one he cared about us to make sure we were taken care of and that he complete trust in his staff to handle things while he is gone.
But onto the fishing, in the one day of fishing we caught perch that average 11 – 12″ with the biggest measuring 13.5″ along with about 10 pike and who knows how many walleyes. Based on that success, the fun we had last year and the way they worked to get us out quickly the next morning we have already mailed our deposit for next year. Within our group I believe we will increase from the 12 guys we had this year to 16 or 18.
I would highly recommend this camp to anyone.
