The Original Canadian Fly-In Fishing based out of Red Lake offers fishing for walleye, northern pike, and perch. As their name states, they offer a number of fly-in fishing opportunities.

Fishing

The Original Canadian Fly-In Fishing offers a lot of options for the fishing traveler. They have 10 available outposts. It appears that all of the lakes have northern pike and walleye. I am not sure if all of the lakes have perch but at least some do. Here is a list of the lakes that they fish.

  • Peisk Lake – Access to Knox Lake
  • Knox Lake – Access to Peisk Lake
  • Murdock Lake
  • Thicketwood Lake
  • Robert Lake – Access to Moose, Century and Job
  • Job Lake – Access to Moose, Century and Robert
  • Mimi Lake – Access to Hosebag, Hidden, Thomas and Garner
  • Accommodations

    Accommodations look pretty nice for a fly-in outfitter. Their cabins have room for up to 8. Cabins have well equipped kitchens with cooking, large propane refrigerators/freezers, propane stoves, solar powered lights with backup propane lights, high pressure solar water system with hot and cold water, shower, urinal and wood burning stove.

    They have satellite phones accessible to each camp.

    They provide 14′ Alumarine wide boats with 9.9 HP outboards.

    Packages and Rates

    Packages are based on Housekeeping Plans. They provide unlimited gas for your boat. Their one week rate is $950.24 USD plus taxes.
