We fished at Silver Water Wheel lodge for the first time in August 2011. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESORT AND THE LAKE. The service was great, the staff and management was the BEST. Lac Seul is a Walleye fisherman's dream and so was the resort. This is a fully guided trip, American plan (food was great), and so was our guide. We are going back in 2012 and every year after that as long as we are able. The resort is small and remote - accommodations are first class. We enjoyed the low key environment and individual service we received. Fishing was over the top excellent. Al & Babs Debes, Leech Lake, Minnesota

Best fishing by far I have ever had anywhere. This was my 8th Ontario fishing trip, but my first time at Silver Water Wheel Lodge. Staff, guides, food, and accomodations were all top notch. Appreciated "catch and release" philosophy as well. Guides all worked together well and had "round table" discussion each night to help ensure the best possible experience for all guests. I can honestly say I will likely not ever take another walleye fishing trip to a different resort. Everything was top notch. I will return there next year and hoepfully for many years to come. Matt

Our group spent June 5th to June 12th at the out post camp from Silver Water Wheel. We had an exceptional trip and was extremely pleased with the hospitality and professionalism of the entire staff. Mike made our reservations and arrangements in the most professional manner and worked very hard to assure our trip was as comfortable as possible. We were met at the dock by Peter who helped un load us and load all our gear in the boat for the trip out to the out post. Peter was great, he did an excellent job getting us there and making sure we were in good shape prior to leaving. On our first full day we had an awsome guide (Cam) who showed us a number of places to fish and then fixed and incredible shore lunch of fresh Walleyes. We can not say enpugh about this great resort. I have been to Canada 29 times and this is by far the best trip ever. Mike you and your staff are exceptional we rebooked for next year prior to leaving camp.
