Red Pine Wilderness Lodge is a boat-in lodge on Lady Evelyn Lake. Lady Evelyn is renowned for its quality fishing in Northeast Ontario. Red Pine Wilderness Lodge also has portage lakes, which provide additional fishing opportunities.

Fishing

Walleye, northern pike and smallmouth are on-deck at Red Pine Wilderness Lodge. They also have perch and white fish. Lady Evelyn Lake has over 450 miles of shoreline and about 22,000 suface acres of water when added to Sucker Gut and Willow Island Lakes.

Red Pine Wilderness Lodge provides access to a number of portage lakes.

  • Sugar Lake – Lake Trout, Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass
  • Long Lake – Northern Pike
  • Muskego River – Brook Trout
  • Other portage lakes offer rainbow and speckled trout.

Accommodations

Cottages are two and three bedrooms with full kitchens, hot & cold running water, and three-piece bathrooms.

Boats are 16 footers with 20hp 4 stroke motors.

Packages and Rates

They offer Housekeeping Plan and American Plan packages. They have weekly and daily rates. Their 2010 Housekeeping Plan package rate for a week is $975 USD and their American Plan package rate is $1299 USD. They also have kids rates.

Each of the packages come with the standard amenities. Additionally, all of your fuel and bait (minnows and crawlers) are part of the package. All fish are cleaned & packaged by the staff at no charge to you.
