This is part 5 of a photo essay of a trip by Fishing Traveler friend Mike to Eddie North’s Attawapiskat River Adventures. If you haven’t read the intro, please check it out for more details on the trip report. This part features some of the walleye that Mike caught on his trip. Remember that Mike was focused on the pike and not walleye.

Here’s Mike…

Once again the walleye were mostly incidental catches for me. I didn’t do a whole lot of walleye fishing and many of my fish came on the larger pike lures. They’re incredibly aggressive up there!

When we actually did concentrate on walleye we caught them hand over fist. Best bait for us was a 4″ white or chartreuse twister tail on a 1/4 or 3/8oz head. Beyond a few diving plugs that’s really all you need up there.

I can verify that everything here is 100 % Accurate. Amazing HUGE pike and amazing walleye fishing. I have gone twice and both were trips of a lifetime. If your looking for great and I mean TROPHY pike fishing, it can’t be beat. The camp is well run by a great guy (Eddie). If your looking for a 5 Star resort, this is not the place, but if your looking 5 Star fishing give Eddie a shout. The camp, boat, motors are all in excellent condition…..I can’t wait to go back in 2011.

He also just opened a new camp in the same area on VIRGIN waters on Richter Lake!!!
If you have ANY questions give me a shout @905-431-6533
