My family and I go up every year for the week of Memorial Day. This will be my 6th year going and this is the only time I fish all year long. Everything you ever want on a fishing vacation is there. The owner and dock hands always make sure you are happy. One year our grandpa had been on the lake for an extremely long time and we began to get worried because he can normally only handle a few hours. Instead of taking one of the fishing boats out to try to find him on such a large lake one of the dock hands jumped in the owners boat which had a much faster engine and took us around the lake looking for him. It ended up the fishing was so great he didn't want to come in. If you haven't experienced this place yet I highly recommend it.

We started to fish on Nagagami about 7 years back. The last few years at this camp. Nagagami is a jewel!!!!!!!!!!!! 110 feet deep and loaded with walleye if you know how to fish. We got one guy who is challenged but he can even hook up with help. With respect to this camp they are hands down got their act together. Top to bottom, period. They have covered the bases. Years back we went all the way to Thunder Bay and then up. We've found better fishing/accommodations much closer to home and saved hundreds $$$ a person.

What a wonderful place to spend for4 days to a week. Wouldn't want to spend my free time doing anything else. Walleye and pike fishing is amazing. Been here a few times duirng the month of may or first of june and also second week of august for bear hunting and fishing. Caught tons of fish throughout the entire day. The weather didnt play much of a role caught plenty when it was snowing raining or when it was hot and the sun was out. The fishing gets better each year due to the select sizes with the pike and walleye. Each year i catch bigger fish and the average size is larger than the year before. The Accommodations are wonderful. Everything is well organized and easy to get around. The staff is great, they can help you out for anything you need. Overall just a pleasant place to stay and cant wait to go back for another personal best fish.

My dad & I returned for the second straight year because of the quality of the camp, boats and fishing and of course the personable staff. Unformately our trip was cut short due to the illness of my grandmother so we had to fly out after being there for only 24 hrs. David took the time to arrange our fly out with the neighboring camp, took us over there the next morning and waited with us until we flew out (2hrs later), all while he had 26 guys in camp. To me that says two things, one he cared about us to make sure we were taken care of and that he complete trust in his staff to handle things while he is gone. But onto the fishing, in the one day of fishing we caught perch that average 11 - 12" with the biggest measuring 13.5" along with about 10 pike and who knows how many walleyes. Based on that success, the fun we had last year and the way they worked to get us out quickly the next morning we have already mailed our deposit for next year. Within our group I believe we will increase from the 12 guys we had this year to 16 or 18. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone.

The place we'd gone to for years had changed. We made an effort to find a new lake/destination. Expeditions North was recommended to us but we did go there. We tried a place north/west of Thunder Bay in 2008 and then went to Expeditions North in 2009. All I will say is they set the standard for value. First, really good Pike and Walleye. As big of Northern and best volumes walleye we've had for August fishing. The assistance getting to know a new lake was really appreciated. It did not take long and we figured things out. The camp is the cleanest we have ever been to. Organized and well run, on top of their game. Nice to go to a place where everything, really works. We will be back this year.

We fished in August. We fish Lake Leelanau in Michigan lots. Never had walleye fishing like that. http://www.expeditions-north.com/02-lodge.htm is a really nice place. Great equipment and surrounds, accommodations were perfect. Thanks for a great vacation.

I’ve been to the camp 3 years running and it is just amazing at delivering. The facilty and staff are off the chart the best..bar none! Hot showers, Saunas, full kitchens, screened meeting patio… Fishing-wise, I’ve been there in mid-June, Late July, and Late August. It’s been wonderful. THe lake is large enough that if a hatch is shutting down fishing on one of the feeder rivers coming into the late, you just fish somewhere else on the lake. We’ve always been able to get on the bite. Early Morning, late evening, Mid-Day… I have two boys who know a lot more about fishing because we fish what the conditions give us.
