Fishing

Rainy Lake is a fine multi-species fishery. At Camp Narrows Lodge, you can fish for smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike and crappie. The lodge is located on the Northwest Bay which will put you on some of the best smallmouth fishing that Rainy Lake has to offer.

Rainy Lake is good anytime you can get there but the fall can be incredible as the big smallmouth start their feeding frenzy and the crappie catches become plentiful.

Camp Narrows Lodge helps preserve their fishery with a catch and release policy on smallmouth bass. They encourage selective harvest on walleyes and pike with slot limits.

All of the accommodations at Camp Narrows Lodge are fully modernized. Flush toilets, hot showers and electric are part of every cabin.

  1. Ron S Shave says:

I was there a couple of times years ago. (before and during the Pete Calder reign) I did NOT like how he ran the camp so Iwent elsewhere. (flying in,driving in,walking in,boating in)-done it all- My wife will be with me,just the two of us,but I must have a PRIVATE cabin probably for one wk. We may wish to stay longer but if so we can try to work something out at that time.Late June or early July would work for us. We’re retired so don’t need to worry about vacation time and even a mid-wk to mid- wk slot would be OK Please send literature, questions, prices and\or suggestions to: Ron Shave-66 Sunshine
Circle-Mountain Home,AR 72653. The e-mail would work also. Thanks,RON What does URI mean?
