We had a great time.The boats, motors and cabins were more than adaequate. Our hosts went out of their way to help us. I hope to go back next year.

Just spent time at Bush Country camp and had a great time. September fishing off a bit but probably more the fisherman than the fish. Fantastic accomodations, food, and most importatntly hospitality by the hosts. First time my wife experienced this type of vacation (she caught a 36" pike) and she wants to return. Biggest endorsement I can give - get Chantele to do the cooking (great food) and you take your wife to a quality restaurant and still get to fish with your buddies - it was all good.

Beautiful place, fishing superb. Norm is a wonderful owner and hard worker. Hot shower was great, cabins as expected. Loved the four stroke motors! Definitly will go back! Norm - say Hi to Billy for me!

Went this year after booking at the sports show and was disappointed by the equipment and cabins. The motors and boats were old and barely running. For the prices they charge you would think you could get decent boats. Stay away from this place.

My family and myself and some friends went to bush country camp last year and had a good time we went for seven days Norman and chantale are really good people they worked hard to make everything really nice for us. I would and have recomended bush country camp to everyone that i talk to about our trip. we leave in 2 weeks to go again this year we are really looking forward to it. They do a first class job in my book

2010 was the new owners first year and if there was a lack of knowlege about the fishing spot it was made up for in their hospitality. this has never been known as a fancy place but as a true fishing camp. I have been going with my 85 year old father and last year started my 9 year old son, a better day could not be had, for about 5 years.2010 the water was a bit low so we worked a bit harder but this is a great walleye lake. I believe in the "put the big fish back if it is not going on your wall" theory. I also be lieve the new owners will follow this long tradition created by the prior owners as they get their feet set for the long haul. If you are looking to be in Gods country this is a great place, if you are looking for a guy with clean pants and a laundry mat don't bother.

We went here and thought we were treated pretty decent. The only thing was is the owner had the same dirty clothes on every day of the week, and the workers were always speaking french about the Americans, they didn't know I understood french and I didn't let them on to it either. Needless to say if the guy puts about a million bucks into the camp it will be decent but otherwise the cabins and the boats were junk and the toilets never had paper in them. Fishing was good though. Lots of keeper Walleye which was great. Meal plan waste of money. Eggo waffles and spaghetti is not American plan.

This place was a disapointment, the cabins were in need of repair they made a big deal about new mattesses but the cabins were way outdated. The food was terrible and the owner was new and new nothing about fishing in the lake. Stay away from here.

The Walleye fishing is phenominal! The camp being on an island that is situated in the middle of the lake makes for short boat rides to all the best fishing spots. Hot meals served to you on an island in the middle of nowhere! You cant get any better than that. Great boats and good accomadations for such a remote spot. My fsmily and I love it there.

This is a wonder lake to fish and well worth the drive. The camp is situated on an island with clean accommodations and a nice overall layout. The island also helps to keep the bugs away. If you enjoy Walleye, Pike and Lake Trout fishing, you can't go wrong there.
