Brennan Harbour Resort
Brennan Harbour is located on the the Whalesback Channel of Lake Huron, off the mouth of the Spanish River. They are the only resort on the Whalesback Channel. While there you can fish either the Channel or the Spanish River. The more that I read about this area, the more intrigued I am about this place. The fishing sounds really good. Brennan Harbour seems like a great spot to begin to explore its fishing opportunities.

Fishing
You can either fish the Whalesback Channel of Lake Huron or the Spanish River. Fishing is mostly for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass and jumbo perch. Sturgeon, salmon and trout can also be caught. Guides can be arranged by the resort for you.
Accommodations
Brennan Harbour Resort has cabins of various sizes. Their largest cabins will hold up to 7 people. Cabins have everything that you need for a your Housekeeping Plan vacation.
They have a range of boats in their fleet. I am very impressed with their upgrade boats. 17′ Lund Outfitters with a 30hp 4 stroke or even a Lund Rebel with a 40hp 4 stroke could be your vessel for the week. The resort’s fleet of boats demonstrates their commitment to making sure fishermen maximize their fishing with quality boats.
Packages and Rates
They offer a range of packages from Housekeeping Plans to full American Plans. Their weekly Housekeeping Plan package rate is $545 per person. They offer two American Plan options. The first provides dinner only and costs $665 per person. Their full American Plan package with breakfast and lunch costs $795 per person. These are very reasonable rates.
They also have some very reasonable family rates. This is really important to me. Lodges like Brennan Harbour Resort understand that making fishing affordable for dads and moms to take their kids on fishing vacations is critically important to preserving our sport.
Everybody gets to be part of a midweek fish fry which sounds fun.
