Thanks for taking time to help fellow anglers (and dads) with your excellent blog site. I've enjoyed reading all of your trip reports. My adult son and I have decided to spend a week next fall at Lost Lake Wilderness Lodge. This lodge was on our short list, and after reading your trip report several times, and conversing with Ed at Lost Lake with lots of questions, we feel it's going to be a great vacation.
Looking forward to reading your future trip reports on the new site.
Happy and Healthy New Year to you and your family.

It's so strange where you can end up when you simply Google your own name. Chris, you're a man who loves to fish most what I mostly fish best. Similarily, I too spend much time online searching the next great vacation opportunity. 2008 has Ungava Arctic Quebec, Costa Rica, Nipigon Ontario, Kesagami and the Attawapiskat River in Ontario calling my name. Good luck with your vacations wherever you choose. It's nice to hear you enjoy my write ups and I understand I'll need to try and control my foul language the next time I'm caught up in the excitement of a friend catching his personal best pike.

Regards,

We've enjoyed reading your comments on fishing trips in Ontario. We are planning a father/son trip for 2008, and Lost Lake was on our short list. Your article gave us valuable additional info on this lodge and lake.
Have you ever fished the West Arm of Nipissing or the lower French River? We are looking into those spots also.
Best thing about your blog is that you share your trips with your kids!

You are welcome to come up and fish here in teh Yukon Territory as well. We are right next door to Southeast Alaska so there is enough to keep you busy for a while.

Take care, Dennis@Fishonyukon.com
