Echo Lake is about 2 1/2 miles long and deep depths from 100 to 230 feet in the center. According to Echo Lake Resort,

It is fed by 55 springs, has no inlet or outlet, and is excellent for all types of fishing. Each year the lake is stocked with 20,000 fish — 5000 Gerrard Rainbows, 5000 Black Water Rainbows & 10000 Penask Lake Rainbows, and features weed beds, drop offs and structures.

Lurking in the depths of the Okanagan valley lakes are fish legends are made of. Echo Lake Lodging

Echo Lake Fishing Resort - This resort is set amongst the pristine old growth timber, with wildlife in abundance. A wilderness experience only a short drive from the City of Vernon, gateway to the North Okanagan in British Columbia, Canada.  The resort offers camping, housekeeping cabins and boat rentals.

Echo Lake Provincial Park

Echo Lake Provincial Park is located in a popular scenic spot in the north Okanagan.  This park is for day use only. Fishing licences, boat rentals, bait, and fishing tackle are available. There are no camping facilities.
